Dream – what do you dream about? I’m not refering to the sleeping dreams that we have, but rather those day-dreams of what might be…
Dream of what might be…
Are you:
- day-dreaming of the ocean – the waves lapping against the shore?
- imagining hiking deep in a forest, your feet on a path leading you on…
- looking with longing out your window, dreaming of gathering with friends and family?
There’s a time for everything. Sometimes we need to be content to dream a bit until it’s time.
The right time.
There is a time for everything,
Ecclesiastes 3
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
This was the Scripture verse given to us on our 25th Wedding Anniversary – if you read further on into the verse, about what this wise man has to say about a time for everything, you’ll find yourself nodding in agreement.
Yes. There is a time for everything.
Now may not be the time.
Or it might be?
I like that paper line. One of my favorite versed.
Are you a paper crafter?
Hi there, Nancy! Yes, I’m a paper crafter! Playing with paper keeps me calm and then I like sending what I’ve made out to others to encourage them… 🙂 How about you?
I wrote my first book back in 2016 and have been dreaming that the inspiration will come to write a second (and much better!) one. I spent a lot of 2017-2019 trying to force it and ended up burning out. I have since let it go and know that it will come to me when the time is right. For years, I’ve been told by many older (and much wiser!) friends that God will let things happen in HIS time. As a human, that is hard to comprehend and accept. I’m looking forward to what He has in store for me — on his time and terms!
Writing a book is a huge commitment – in time and energy and more. I think you’re really smart to wait on the “when” God prompts. 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Shelly.
Sometimes I think I am on the Sarah timetable. Meaning, now is not the time – not until you’re 90.
Yes, everything in His time.
I’m not really dreaming of anything at my age. I just take a day at a time and enjoy everything especially GGranddaughter Lia.
It’s interesting how our interests and desires sort themselves out, isn’t it? I also enjoy being the grands..
The pretty graphic and the title grabbed me. Now is a good time to dream of a better future ahead if we can all stay safe. It’s a good time to be a writer and stay in my home. I feel like I’m getting a lot done.
Thank you for your kind words, Virginia! And you’re so correct – we do need to dream of a better future ahead where our health is safe. (Agreed about getting more done at home because the idea of going out is not attractive!)
