Waiting is never wasted. If we allow it, that waiting time could be where God’s greatest work is done in us.

My first thought was of a mother waiting for the birth of her child. In the beginning it seems so far away. But by keeping busy; preparing and anticipating, the times flies. And the immense joy when that baby arrives!
Patience is not one of my virtues. I’m a work in progress! But as we await the Lords return, we keep busy; prepare and anticipate. I’m sure the joy when the time comes will be indescribable! Waiting is never wasted!
Thanks for your point about waiting for the baby! So true!
Preparation is a good way to keep busy – whether that’s in prayer, or in a more physical aspect. We weed a garden while we wait for the harvest… and that works for our souls, too, as we wait for Jesus’ return!
